Welcome to the Health Informatics London and South East Specialist Group

This group's objective is to advance the understanding and use of
informatics to promote health, with an express purpose to provide
a forum for the discussion and promotion of the use of information
systems in
all areas of healthcare and health administration.
Members are drawn
from all health disciplines and professions both inside and outside
the NHS. This diversity of people each with a common
objective
provides the group with a collective ability to comment,
steer and direct irrespective of personal affiliations. Thus
the Committee is sometimes sought by the
media to provide independent observation
on health IT issues where personal affiliations would prevent
comment.
